Salem Sampler - Cross Stitch Pattern by Plum Street Samplers Christmas A gorgeous smooth linenFrom Paulette the designer: This is the next sampler in my Rhode Island sampler inspired series, and it was a joy to design because I chose to work with a palette that was not the usual Halloween flavor sometimes associated with Salem. No orange was used anywhere in the piece! :) The top of the sampler features a "death head," which is a winged skull used on many old headstones and represents a soul whose journey isn't finished yet, a passing on to
