Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Dress Dagger, With Hanger consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac German Rifle Association(Luftwaffe Dolch fr Offiziere mit Gehnge). A well preserved Luftwaffe Officers dagger, measuring 43 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 26. 5 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and edges. Unmarked, the blade sits securely within a silvered alloy crossguard, the obverse of which bears a raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika in high detail, with the seam covered by a black leather
