Neal Preston: Robert Plant Catches a Dove behrens In this workNeal Preston's Famous Robert Plant "Dove Shot" One of rocks most iconic images, this candid snap of Led Zeppelin front man Robert Plant was captured by Neal Preston during the band's June 2, 1973 performance at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco, CA. As part of the act dozens of white doves were released from behind the stage, amazingly one dove circled back and briefly landed on Plant's outstretched hand. As described by Preston, "I knew it was a nice
