Germany, HJ. A 1939 National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Bronze Grade Newly Listed followed by postings to Rockcliffe(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1939). Constructed of patinated bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consists of a circular laurel leaf wreath surrounding a white enameled disc, bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER 1939 (DISTRICT CHAMPION 1939).
