We made this selection in 2008 on the property of the late Vivien Phillips in Yancey County, NC, and are pleased to name it in her honor. Vivien was an amazing plantswoman, naturalist, and all around wonderful human being. Phlox 'Vivien' is the most vigorous selection of Phlox stolonifera we've ever grown, quickly covering the woodland
