Vedo oltre Iris Kojaman Notebook illustrati con disegni originaliThe subject of this portrait, set against a gold mirrored background, evokes a classical beauty through her delicate pose, but is reinterpreted in a contemporary key by the artist, who imbues her with new light and vitality. Usually, the protagonists of Antonio Murgia's works look directly at the viewer; in this case, however, the woman seems absorbed, her gaze directed elsewhere, as if she is lost in thought. This portrait conveys a subtle melancholy.
