Amorphophallus konjac Shattered Glass Crete This 2016 Hosta of theAmorphophallus konjac 'Shattered Glass', a 2003 introduction of plant breeder Dr. Michael Marcotrigiano, is the first ever variegated selection. The palm like green foliage is randomly sectored with white. This type of variegation is naturally unstable, so some years the amount of variegation can be quite dramatic, and some years, it may not show up at all, only to return the following season.
