Hosta Cascades Groundcovers who first introduced Colocasia 'BlackI haven't been able to get this hosta out of my mind since it won the awards at one of the Hosta Society national conventions. H. 'Cascades' is one of the finest introductions from the Lachman's breeding program. The tapered leaves, to 1' long, have a wide white center and a dark green border. The arching clumps, to 26" wide, make a spectacular statement in the garden. In late spring, the 3' scapes of pure white flowers top the clump.
