An Order of the Crown of Romania, Commander, by Josef Resch & Fils consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac NAZAIRE 1944-1945”Instituted in 1881. Type I (1881 1941 Issue). Maltese cross in red and white enamel, crowns and swords at each corner, obverse center shows Royal crown surrounded by the inscription Prin Noi Insine 14 Martie 1881, reverse center shows date 10 Maiu, on original blue necklet ribbon, 60. 9 mm, evidence of slight chipping on obverse centrepiece white enamel, extremely fine condition. Housed in original case with Order name and Royal monogram on the cover,
