A very well preserved Heer Panzer Officers M38 overseas cap, constructed of heavy black wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, secured in place at the front by machine stitching. Both the front of the panels and the crown of the cap are fully trimmed with silver aluminum wire piping, and the cap is flanked on each side by a ventilation hole reinforced with a blackened magnetic metal eyelet.
