The dreamy pearl sits highly at the centre of the heart, and both the front and back features scroll detailing. The back reveals a heart shaped locket compartment and it's crafted in 18k gold throughout. The piece was originally designed as a bracelet or necklace clasp, and as such the top bar is hinged on opens. It dates from the Georgian period, circa
