The painting depicts a stormy or squally sea, most likely the English channel, the rocky cliffs of the coastal outline to the foreground with seagulls flying low to the water. To the background are three sailing ships, the painting is signed lower roght "J. Webb", the painting is hloused in the loriginal gilded gesso frame. The painting is in excellent condition, to
