Antique Japanese Bronze Dog Brooch georgian ring and dates from the 1920sDATE: Victorian, c. 1900 This fantastic Japanese made antique brooch is modelled as a little dogs face. Crafted in bronze, the dogs face has been carefully modelled and engraved, with tiny fur strokes, ears and nose. With striking eyes, they're made from glass, so small I can even imagine the carful hand that made them. With brooch fittings to the back, it remains in great condition and dates to circa 1900. In japan, using bronze in jewellery was
