Victorian Oyster Shell Purse and amethyst cocktail ring to a 7 chrysoprase The eyes are deeply setDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 During the Victorian era, coins were a little smaller to what they are today, and this little purse would have been perfect for keeping them safe. Made from an oyster shell, this fantastic purse is lined with red and white material, creating three small pouches. Its hinged down one side and opens and fastens with florally decorated metal fittings. The shell itself is smooth and iridescent, and overall just a pretty cool place
