BIDPRENT OTTO WEIß STABBATTERIE SCHONGAU 1941 Death card Karl Mühlbauer and original chin strap withThis original Wehrmacht death card was issued in memory of Gefreiter Otto Wei, born on 10 August 1919 in Schongau, Bavaria. He served with the Stabbattery Schongau and died on 27 March 1941 at the age of only 21. Because he died early in the war in his home region, his name is included in the Volksbund memorial register and his final resting place is in the local cemetery in his hometown Schongau, where he was buried with military honors at the time.
