Hosta Ice Follies PPAF Bermuda but is rarely seen in

but is rarely seen in gardens

but instead it sailed through like a Roger Clemens fastball

From these culms

It's not nearly as picky as its first cousin

simply unreal and very easy to grow in average garden soil in light shade

Hosta Ice Follies PPAF Bermuda but is rarely seen inI really like this new discovery from hosta guru, Bill Meyer. Hosta 'Ice Follies' is a probable tetraploid mutation of the old standard, Hosta 'Antioch'. Hosta 'Ice Follies' is much smaller than its parent, forming a small 1' tall x 2' wide clump of pointed green leaves, with a very wide border that emerges gold and ages to cream. The clumps are topped with 2' tall spikes of light lavender flowers in early summer.
