Selection from the best, old vines (over 60 years). 17 months' ageing in French oak barrels, followed by a further 24 months in the bottle. Complex red and jammy black fruit aromas. Mediterranean herbs, roasted coffee beans, green pepper, cloves, Surprisingly balanced and supple with ripe, round tannins and a long, fruity finish.
